My friend Rishi reached out to me to help him revamp his artist website in preparation for his new song releases and upcoming album launch. His goal for the initial redesign was to put something quick together to reflect the vibes of his latest video release, "Timezones", then later tweak the design to something more permanent for his album release.
Timezones Design
The goal for the "Timezones" design was to incorporate the bold colors and aesthetics from the video into the site. The vibes were more playful and bright to reflect the more upbeat tones of the song itself and the video elements.
Treading Water Design
After launching the "Timezones" redesign of the site, I worked with Rishi to establish a more concrete version of the site for his album release, "Treading Water."
He wanted the design to not only incorporate the branding and content created for the album but to also reflect a more serious and professional vibe as opposed to what the "Timezones" design was giving.
In addition to the site itself, I also worked with Rishi to establish a digital marketing strategy to ensure his advertising efforts were pulling in as much traffic as possible. This included the creation of a custom "Link Tree"-like landing page that lived on the site and QR codes that the landing page was linked to. I created unique QR codes for each ad creative and implemented tracking through Google Analytics to get a more complete picture of how well the ads were performing and where improvements could be made.
Future updates
I'm continuing to work with Rishi to add a Shopify integration so he can sell his merch and album vinyls as well as continuing to assist in his digital marketing efforts.
